Question 1. How do I get information about whether the cargo arrived to container terminal?
Answer: The customer sends request to the operations department of ADY Container LLC. The customer is informed about the inquiry. Customer will be informed according to inquiry.
Question 2. Which documents should I submit for receiving cargo from ADY Container LLC?
Answer: Power of attorney must be provided on behalf of the consignee, ID card and the financial code from “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC for receiving the freight from ADY Container LLC.
Question 3. When is cargo handed over?
Answer: After full payment for cargo delivery and rendered services, cargo should be handed over to the authorized representative of cargo owner.
Question 4: Which documents are required to arrange freight transportation?
Answer: The following documents are required to arrange freight transportation:
a) A contract between ADY Container LLC and customer
b) SCAN copies of shipping documents (BL documents, invoices, certificates)
Question 5: What are the payment terms of freight shipping?
Answer: Payments for carriage must be made in advance. Payments can be made through the bank transfer.
Question 6: To whom should be sent the original documents?
Answer: The original shipping documents must be submitted to ADY Container’s partner company and seaport documents (BL) to the Baku office.
Question 7: How many days is the transit time of the cargo?
Answer: The transit time of the cargo depends on route through which the freight is moving.
Question 8: How do the stay duration of freight in the terminal is calculated?
Answer: The term of stay at the terminal is calculated from the date of arrival of the cargo to the terminal. The freight can remain free for 5 days at terminal. From the 6th day, the stay days at terminal are calculated.
