The signing of documents took place between the companies of Azerbaijan and China in the framework of a strategic cooperation “Belt and Road” in Beijing. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Co-Chairman of the Azerbaijan-China Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation Shahin Mustafayev and Head of the Eurasian Department of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, Co-Chairman of the Azerbaijan-China Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation Luo Weidong. With the participation of the Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways Javid Gurbanov an Agreement was signed in the field of strategic cooperation between the companies ADY Container and the Chinese “Xi’an Continental Bridge International Logistics Co. Ltd ”. In the document the parties agreed to organize container trains by the route TMTM. The agreement will also play an important role in expanding the activities of the Baku International Sea Trade Port as a transport hub.
