Azerbaijani railway workers at the international transport and logistics exhibition

After a two-year break, Azerbaijani railway workers are taking part in the traditional International Exhibition of Transport, Logistics and Transport Innovations “Breakbulk Europe-2022” in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Thousands of companies from 120 countries of the world take part in the exhibition, which runs from May 17 to 19. Freight forwarding companies, as well as railway companies, international corporations, freight and logistics companies present their services at the exhibition.

Recent world events, emerging geopolitical realities, had a significant impact on transport and logistics. First of all, this can be attributed to freight traffic between Asia and Europe. It can be said that the transport system and the logistics map are changing in the Eurasian space. In the new realities, Azerbaijan became an attractive transport and logistics country. In general, there is a great need for international transport corridors passing through the territory of Azerbaijan. At present, the transport routes China-Azerbaijan-Europe and Central Asia-Azerbaijan-Europe are of great interest.

Azerbaijan Railways CJSC and its subsidiaries ADY Container and  ADY Express took part in the exhibition with a joint stand and presented the logistics capabilities of Azerbaijan. The participants were informed about the transit potential of our country. The meetings focused on issues related to the transportation of transit cargoes and the increase of cargo volumes by Azerbaijan Railways, attraction of new cargoes.

It should be noted that more than 15,000 specialists from different countries take part in Breakbulk Europe-2022.
