Members of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Consortium – ADY Container (Azerbaijan), KTZ Express (Kazakhstan), GR Logistics (Georgia) and Pacific Eurasia Logistics (Turkey) have set a New Record by delivering a freight train from Khorgos (Altinkol) station on the China-Kazakh border to Kosekoy station (Izmit) in Turkey in just 12 days.
A train consisting of 43 x 40-foot containers with various freight entered Kazakhstan through Altinkol station heading to the port of Aktau, where a feeder ship “Beket-Ata” operated by ADY Container LLC delivered the containers to the Port of Baku in Azerbaijan. From the Port of Baku the containers travelled to Akhalkalaki station in Georgia, and then to the city of Izmit in Turkey by Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
Despite the difficult epidemiological conditions, cargo transportation by rail on the East-West route continues uninterruptedly in compliance with sanitary and epidemiological norms.
