The project connecting the ports of Aktau and Turkmenbaşı with the port of Constanta has launched

“ADY Container”, a subsidiary of “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC, is launching a new service connecting Kazakhstan’s Aktau and Turkmenistan’s Turkmenbashi ports with Romania’s Constanta port in cooperation with COSCO SHIPPING Lines, one of the world’s largest shipping companies. During the cooperation of “ADY Container” and COSCO SHIPPING Lines, joint transportation will be carried out between the ports of Aktau and Turkmenbashi and the port of Constanta in Romania by rail and sea. Within the framework of the project, “ADY Container” company will deliver container trains from the ports of Aktau and Turkmenbashi to the port of Batumi in Georgia via the Caspian Sea and railway. The containers will be transported from Batumi to the port of Constanta in Romania by vessels provided by COSCO SHIPPING Lines.

The new rail-sea connection between the ports of Aktau and Turkmenbashi and the port of Constanta will ensure the integrity of the supply chain in the current complex situation and will enable the connection of China and Central Asia with Europe with fast and efficient service.
