On May 4th, the second international exhibition and conference “International Transport and Transit Corridors: Cooperation for Sustainable Development” was successfully held in the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat. The conference was attended by international experts in the field of transportation, as well as representatives of various companies and organizations, including “ADY Container”, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.
During the conference, attention was focused on new realities in international transportation, the development of transportation and transit corridors, as well as trends in digitalization and innovative solutions in the field of logistics.
As part of the conference, a Memorandum of Understanding on international container transportation was signed between ADY Container LLC and Turkmenistan Transport and Logistics Center. This new partnership platform will contribute significantly to the efficient and speedy organization of container transportation in the Eurasian region.
In addition, during the conference, the next meeting of railway operators of participating countries was held to discuss new development perspectives for transit opportunities along the CASCA+ international multimodal route.
