At another meeting of the Working Group on Development of Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor International Association in Tbilisi, Georgia on October 21-22, 2019, ADY Container was represented by a delegation led by director of the company – Natig Jafarov.
The meeting discussed issues of attracting new types of goods to the “Middle Corridor” and a transparent tariff policy for 2020.
During the meeting, it was decided to adopt Ukraine’s TIS Container Terminal and Baku Hovsan International Trade Port.
An agreement has been reached between the ports of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan on the automatic exchange of information in order to improve the overall efficiency of shipping in the Middle Corridor and to facilitate container transportation.
Representatives of railway departments from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Poland, Turkey as well as more than 60 representatives of port and logistics companies attended the meeting.
Following the end of the meeting, a protocol was signed.
