The traditional Logitrans-2021 International Transport and Logistics Exhibition is being held in Istanbul, Turkey on November 10-12, 2021. The event is attended by more than 250 companies from about 50 countries. The exhibition presents new technologies applied in the field of transport, transportation mechanisms, railway infrastructure, construction and new logistics directions.

Azerbaijan Railways CJSC and its subsidiaries ADY Express and ADY Container are represented by a joint stand at this event. The stand contains information on Azerbaijan’s transport and logistics capabilities, transit corridors through the country and new projects. Azerbaijani railwaymen present the visitors the advantages of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, the attraction of new cargo on this railway line, as well as Europe-Caucasus-Asia, the North-South and other international transport corridors and future transport routes which pass through Azerbaijan. They held talks with cargo owners and large companies operating in the field of logistics in Turkey and other countries. The bilateral meetings focused mainly on the potential of transporting goods by international transit routes via Azerbaijan. The team has invited representatives of international companies to take advantage of the wide range of services offered in the field of cargo transportation.

Within the framework of the exhibition, a bilateral meeting was held between representatives of the Azerbaijani and Turkish railway administrations and large cargo owners. The current state and prospects of joint projects were discussed during the talks. In particular, the focus was on attracting new types of cargo to the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.

It should be noted that there is a great interest in the current event due to the break in the exhibition caused by the pandemic. More than 10,000 visitors are expected to attend the exhibition.
