This time arriving from Marshandiz station in Ankara to ADY Container’s Sumgait terminal, the TURKUAZ Express successfully carried out the transportation of 32 20-foot containers loaded with soda products with total amount of 880 tons.
The new logistics product developed by ADY Container, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways, in cooperation with Turkey’s “Pasifik Eurasia Logistics” and Georgia’s “GR Logistics and Terminals” offers transportation of block trains in both directions twice a week.
Regular TURKUAZ Express block train will be able to increase cargo delivery from Europe to Azerbaijan via Turkey’s Black Sea and Mediterranean ports, while expanding the capacity on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line and strengthening its competitiveness.
