Another container train from China was sent to Turkey

Although there are some restrictions due to the epidemiological situation with the coronavirus, cargo transportation on the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route continues as before.

Another block train from China to Turkey, operated by the Trans-Caspian International Transport Consortium, was overturned in the port of Baku and sent to Turkey.The train consists of 43 40-foot containers. The last destination of the train from Xi’an is the Turkish city of Izmit. The cargo is mainly medical supplies, fabrics, pipes, compressors for refrigeration systems, solar panels and other equipment.

Transportation is carried out by ADY Container (Azerbaijan), KTZ Express (Kazakhstan), GR Logistics (Georgia) and Pacific Eurasia of Turkey, members of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Consortium.

After arriving in the port of Aktau, Kazakhstan, the containers were delivered to the Port of Baku by the feeder Beket-Ata, operated by ADY Container. Here, the containers were loaded onto platforms and sent to Turkey via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, which allows for more convenient, faster and safer transportation.
