One more step has been taken to develop the South-West International Transport Route

Several important issues were in the spotlight among working groups in the meeting of the South-West International Transport Route which is ended in Tehran, Iran. Representatives of railways of Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine and Poland attended the meeting. “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC and route operator company in Azerbaijan, “ADY Container” attended at the event and in the “South-West” International Transport Route optimization of freight tariffs, improvement of infrastructure projects as well as transportation mechanisms was in the spotlight. The working group’s first protocol was signed between the parties at the end of the meeting. The development of South-West international transport routes and attraction of freights has been taken into consideration and stated in the document. Furthermore, resolution of the Coordination Committee working group regulations has been approved. Members of working group met with potential customers to use the South-West International Transport Route in Tehran.
